A LOOK BACK AT ENOFORUM 2026

On May 20–21, TEXINOV participated for the first time in Enoforum in Zaragoza, Spain. This event provided a strategic platform to promote the European LIFE VinoShield project and its solution, VINOPROTEX®. Here is a recap of an edition rich in synergies and business opportunities.

Highlighting the first scientific results on a European scale

TEXINOV’s participation in Enoforum marked a key milestone in the dissemination of the LIFE VinoShield project. Alongside our consortium partners, we were able to present to stakeholders in the Spanish wine industry the concrete and encouraging results from the first season of trials conducted in Italy, France, and Spain.

VINOPROTEX® presented to Iberian winegrowers

At our exhibition booth, our team highlighted the VINOPROTEX® solution and its effectiveness against weather hazards, particularly hail. Although the

Enoforum trade show is heavily focused on oenology, the attendees represented a diverse range of qualified professionals. The technical discussions held at the booth with Spanish and Portuguese winemakers confirmed the relevance of our offering. The quality of the contacts made translates into a very positive business indicator: the vast majority of professionals we met expressed a desire to initiate real-world testing phases on their estates.

Valuable field feedback to guide future developments

This immersion in the Iberian market also allowed us to refine our understanding of local needs:

• Clear priorities: winemakers’ primary interest focused on active protection against hail and predators (birds).
• Emerging awareness: while heat management has not yet been explicitly identified as the top priority, questions regarding the benefits of our shade nets demonstrate that growers are genuinely considering future heat-related challenges.
